Some of the Birthday Cards I have made recently

These are some of the birthday cards that I have have made recently.

The Fireman was for my boys little friend Ronan's 5th Birthday, he adores firemen and was stoked. (He was really cute started making firemen noises)

The Princess card was for our little princess Rebecca's first birthday.

I got my inspiration from Crafty Cows Blog Page. She has some awesome Punch Art Ideas. Thank you very much for the inspiration. I have been busy also making All Blacks, and our local rugby team players (and I better not forget the superheros) for Scrapbooking layouts, will post photos later.

Photos of my princess as promised.

I have used the Hey Birdie collection from Kaiser for one of the layouts, I also used some Stampin Up chipboard that I covered.
The quotes from the Kaiser Rubons (Sugar and Spice) used on both layouts, completely sum up our feelings of Boo.
Rebecca is loved by everyone who meets her she is so friendly and it is so nice to have a little girl who everyone adores.
"It's her beauty that captures your attention. It's her personality that captures your heart."

When I was pregnant with Boo I didn't know that I was having a little girl, I was wishing so hard, as I already had the two boys and they are the bestest friends so I didn't know how a 3rd boy would impact. Anyway "When we asked for a daughter we were sent a princess" completely sums up how Jamie and I feel about Boo.

The other layout is of my niece Violet and Rebecca, there is 13months between the girls they are becoming BFF very quickly but, there is always a but, Violet has a new sister Izzabelle, so I wonder what will happen, Boo and Izzy are only 10mths apart, I wonder if Boo will favor one cousin more, or just treat them both like BFF's. Time will tell.

Thanks for looking at my page.

Meeting the All Blacks

I can see a major scrapbooking double layout for both boys from our family outing today. We got to see/meet some of the All Blacks at a Roadshow in New Plymouth.
Was extremely exciting for Mummy seeing Dan/Richie etc. Thought I would share a couple of the photos.

Rainy Day in the Naki

What a horrible rainy day today, but I did get two layouts of my princess done this morning. A nice day to sit in front of the fire catching up on Television programmes Jamie and I have recorded while we have been out at our many meetings this month. And June looks no better.
Well off to the scrapbooking table (The nice little table that has taken up residence in our lounge.) I might even upload some more photos in the next few days.
Happy Scrapping
Megs.
(I need to think of how to make a paper piecing fireman for my sons little friends 5th birthday card, any ideas? I have access to Stampin Up punches.)
